About
Spaces that provoke feelings, imagination, and thinking

Tania Monics
Tania Monics is an award-winning interior and furniture designer whose work bridges the worlds of spatial design and product creation. Based between Milan and Dubai, she leads Monics Studio — an interior and furniture design atelier with an international team of designers and architects.
After studying Interior Design at Yana Gradetskaya's school in the Czech Republic, Tania pursued Furniture Design at the Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe's most prestigious design institutions. It was there that she developed her distinctive approach — a human-centered philosophy rooted in how people move through, interact with, and feel within a space.
Tania honed her craft within the Marcel Wanders studio, contributing to projects for Moooi — the iconic Dutch design brand co-founded by Wanders. This experience deepened her understanding of the intersection between interior environments, furniture, and emotional resonance.
Her work has been recognized with an A' Design Award for the Folks Patisserie Cafe, an Archiproducts Best Design Product of the Year, and inclusion on the AD100 list by Architectural Digest Poland — celebrating the world's top architects and designers.
Tania's design philosophy centers on nature, authenticity, and emotional resonance — transforming spaces through soft, earthy hues that evoke tranquility and grounding, blending contemporary aesthetics with genuine material qualities.

Sister Company
Monics + Vieira
Alongside Rafaela Vieira, whom she met while studying at Politecnico di Milano, Tania co-founded Monics + Vieira — a product design studio focused on natural materials and sustainability.
The duo is known for the DUETO collection — seven limited-edition marble chairs and an oval table created for Galrao, Portugal's premier marble studio, celebrating their 70th anniversary. The collection features biomorphic, fluid forms in natural stone.
They also designed the Earth carpet collection for Moooi Carpets, including “Grains of Earth” and “Crisp Dawn Awakens” — designs inspired by early morning light touching the earth.
